Devil Man started in jest. Back in 2017, I was sitting with a tiny keyboard in my lap when a friend of mine handed me a glass of whiskey. I made up the first verse and chorus, jokingly, about him in his presence and then put the keyboard down. 6 years later I thought it would be fun to try and finish it. To write the second verse, I just thought of times I've been led astray by someone charismatic and more self assured than I am. I'm a fairly paranoid and guarded person, but once in a while someone slips through the cracks, picks me up and drops me off in the middle of nowhere.
